Good morning! I hope that you are all well, and that you have been enjoying the lovely sunshine. Have you sent in your fitness photos yet? I think I will send mine in today! I hope that you enjoyed the activities that I set for you yesterday.
BBC Bitesize are uploading daily lessons for English and Maths, as well as for other subjects, for each year group. You might want to have a look on the website today.
Activities for today!
English – read a book either from home, on Oxford Owl or on Serial Mash (logon to Purple Mash, and click on Serial Mash).
- choose a character from the book. I have set a 2Do on Purple Mash where you can create a picture of the character, and you can write all about them. What is their personality like? What do they look like? What do they like? How old are they? Who are they friends with? Where do they live?
- remember to use lots of exciting vocabulary in your character description! I can’t wait to see your work!
Maths – spend some time on TT Rock Stars – the battle ends tomorrow!
- I have uploaded some multiplication word problems on the class handouts page. Remember that you can draw pictures to represent the multiplications.
Geography – our Summer term topic is Farm to Fork. Today, I would like you to find out some information about farms. You could ask an adult to help you research information. Write down what you learn. You could even draw some pictures to go with the information.
Have a fantastic day, Year Two!
