Good morning to you all! I really hope that you had a super day yesterday, and that you enjoyed completing all of your activities. It was wonderful to read about the new things that you have learnt. Well done, and keep going!
Today you might want to take a look at the BBC teach website. On here you will find lots of short clips and activity ideas for primary school children, as well as the Super Movers videos.
Activities for today!
English – download the KS1 common exception words document on the class handouts page. Practise spelling some of these words. Can you use them in a sentence?
- read a book. It could be your school reading book, a book from home or a book from the Oxford Owl website. I have set a 2Do on Purple Mash, where you can write a book review on your chosen book.
Maths – spend some time on TT Rock Stars. Can you improve your speed and accuracy?
- think back to our work on fractions. Can you show 1/2, 1/4 and 1/3 of something? You could draw a picture to show this, you could use objects around the house/garden, or you could even show these fractions using food!
Science – recently in Science we spoke about the importance of exercise. Can you design a poster that explains why exercise is important? You could even design your own exercise and write about it.
Don’t forget to get as much exercise and fresh air as you can - the weather is lovely!
Have a great day!
