Hi Year 5. Another sunny morning! Make the most of it by getting out into your gardens if you are lucky enough to have one or exercise outside with your family. Fresh air makes us all feel so much better and it's a good opportunity for you to take your fitness photo outdoors, ready to send to the email address email@example.com
Remember the deadline is SUNDAY 26TH APRIL AT 5P.M. so please send your photos!
Today's Home Learning
Please follow the link https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zn8bgwx to find a reading lesson based on To Be A Cat by Matt Haig. This is a reading comprehension activity which I think you will enjoy.
Please don't forget to log on to LEXIA if you have a password too.
Follow this link https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zfcnscw to have a go at some maths challenges on BBCBitesize. Also I will set up a weekend battle on TTRockstars so try your very best to get some points for your team! Remember there's Prodigy maths too!
This activity is something I think you will enjoy and is based on finding different textures around the home. It would be great if you could upload your texture rubbings to our Purple Mash blog.
It is really important at this tricky time that everyone works as a team. I'm sure you have seen lots of people helping others on the news etc...Captain Tom who is helping the NHS by raising over 28 million pounds is an excellent example! So here is an activity about the importance of working as a team, with your brothers/sisters and your whole family!
We are all finding it quite difficult and different at the moment so it is very important that you play your part by working as a team with your family and helping your grown-ups at home.
So have a lovely weekend, Year 5, be good for your grown-ups and do try your very best to complete your home learning every day. We love to see the work you are producing on the Purple Mash blog so please keep uploading it! Oh, and DON'T FORGET YOUR FITNESS PHOTOS!
Take care everyone.
