Hello Year 3,
Well done to everyone who handed work in on Purple Mash yesterday! I really enjoyed reading lots of super sentences, which were full of amazing adverbs of manner! It was also lovely to hear about the kind acts some of you carried out to help and care for the people that you live with.
I hope that you will enjoy completing the activities that I have set for you on Purple Mash today! Keep uploading any completed work so that I can mark what you have done! :)
As we are currently reading Slime by David Walliams, I thought it would be useful for you to find out a little bit more about the author himself. Read through the information about David Walliams, and then see if you can answer some reading comprehension questions about his achievements!
We have done lots of work on 3-digit numbers this year. Today, I would like to see if you can put sets of 3-digit numbers in order from smallest to biggest! Make sure you carefully compare the hundreds, tens and ones' columns!
This week, we have been finding out about different creatures that live in the Amazon rainforest! To end the week in a fun way, I'm sure you will enjoy singing along to the jazzy 'Toucan Song'! See if you can answer some musical questions about this song too!
Listen to, and enjoy, Chapter 13 of Slime by David Walliams. Then, see if you can write a creative character description of the evil toyshop owners, Edmund and Edmond Envy!
Have a funtastic day, Year 3!
Miss Meakin :)
