Happy Friday Year 5 and your families. How did you get on with the shape work yesterday? We were delighted to see more of you posting on our Purple Mash blog yesterday...please keep doing so as it really cheers us up when we can see your faces and read your messages. We're missing you all SO much!
Today's Home Learning
Please complete Buster's Blitz on Serial Mash and choose two activities to do. I could see some of you had a bit of trouble accessing this yesterday so today they are all on our handouts page as PDFs too.
Next complete a book review of the whole book and post it on our blog please. Did you enjoy the story? What was the main problem or dilemma? Who was your favourite character? Why?
As Friday is usually our spelling day, please spend at least 15 minutes on Spelling Frame today.
Square and cube numbers - please follow this link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zyhs7p3/articles/z2ndsrd
Watch the video then have a go at the quiz and other activities.
Don't forget TTRockstars and Prodigy maths too.
Priscilla and Sophie scored points for the girls in our last battle so well done to you two!
How did you get on counting in French yesterday? I hope you had a go at playing hopscotch in French.
Today please click on https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zdm8q6f to watch a video about naming clothes in French.
I would like you to draw a picture of yourself wearing your favourite clothes and label the clothes in French please. Don't forget to take a photo and post your work on the Y5 Purple Mash blog.
So we hope you all have a wonderful weekend...please remember to help your grown-ups by being good and doing jobs around the house (my daughters have cooked dinner on two nights this week :) ).
This is a great time for you to learn different skills such as how to make your own bed or how to make a meal/bake some cookies. We would love to see and hear about your new skills when we see each other again.
Stay safe and well and look after each other xx
