Good morning, Year Five.
I hope that you have had a nice weekend and are enjoying spending time with your families. This is the start of a new week so I hope you are ready to learn! I know that it has been said before but I would just like to repeat that it would be very helpful for you guys to get yourselves into a routine at home. Please see our suggested timetable to help.
I've uploaded a lesson presentation on pronouns for you. You can select activity to choose from either medium or easy. Have a look through the presentation and complete one of the activities. Then I've also set you another SPaG test. Keep revising! Remember the answers are included at the end.
Don't forget Lexia :)
Carol Vorderman has an online maths school called The Maths Factor and it's available from themathsfactor.com. It usually costs to subscribe, however it is now available for free! It has videos and daily activities and has been known to boost children's confidence in maths. Access the website and get yourself registered. You need an email address and an activation code will be sent. Because of high demand, this may take a few days to come through so make sure you register today so that you can hopefully use this later in the week :)
For today, I've uploaded another arithmetic test for you. As usual you can mark it yourself using the answer scheme at the back and revise any areas you need to. Remember TT Rockstars too!
Did you know the clocks went forwards over the weekend? I thought we could do some work on telling the time. I've uploaded a lesson presentation for you to have a look at. It is showing you how to convert between a 12 hour and 24 hour clock. Look at it carefully and then there's some worksheets for you. Again, choose your difficulty. I know how you enjoyed learning about the Romans with Mrs Rollins last year. I've uploaded a reading comprehension for you so that you can revise.
Work hard and be good! :)
