Shooting Stars.

Good morning Year 4,

Did you remember to look up in the sky last night? Were any of you lucky enough to see a shooting star? I hope you made a wish if you did. I have some exciting news today. I have set up a class blog for us to all keep in touch while the school is closed. You can find this on Purple Mash. Log in as usual and then click on the ‘Sharing’ tab at the top near the ‘To Do’ tab. You can read my comments and you can add your own to let me know what you have been up to. I hope you enjoy using it, I am excited to hear what you have all been doing.

Today’s work

Today, I want you to write your biography using the notes that you made yesterday. Remember to include sub headings to help structure your biography. Make sure you spend some time reading. You can either read your own book or log onto Oxford Owl and select a book from there (log in details are on the home learning timetable if you have forgotten).

Today you have another Power Maths activity. It is called ‘Number line to 10,000’, you can find it on the classwork page. Make sure you are up to date with your Purple Mash ‘To do’ activities too. Spend some time on TT Rockstars or Prodigy maths if you finish quickly.

I have set two activities for today: a ‘To do’ on Purple Mash called Magnifying Glass also a sorting activity you will find on the classwork page.

Have a great day. Remember to check out the Year 4 blog.
