What a beautiful, sunny morning Year 5! A fantastic day to exercise outside with your family and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Today's Home Learning
Please read chapters 3 and 4 of Buster's Blitz on Serial Mash, then complete the activities which are linked to these chapters. When you have completed this, don't forget to post your work on the Year 5 Purple Mash blog...it was lovely to see a few more of you joining in this week!
Those of you with LEXIA log-ons and passwords should be completing activities daily - we are monitoring this, so please do so!
Please read every day for 30 minutes too.
Today I would like you to revise 3D shapes and their nets.
Look carefully at the Powerpoint to remind yourselves then complete the activities.
Why not try opening up some cereal boxes or other packaging to look at the net of the box/shape?
Revise your knowledge of counting in French. Please click this link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zcwrkqt which will show you a video of some French children playing hopscotch in their own language.
It would be great if you could set up your own game of hopscotch outside and play with someone else in your family. Counting in French as you play, of course!! Take a photo and post on our blog.
So enjoy today's activities and we hope you have a lovely day. Don't forget to clap at 8pm tonight...it's a great way to bring us all together, as well as showing our respect and appreciation. Take care everyone x
