Good morning, Year Five. I hope you are all well and are behaving for your grown ups. What are you getting up to? I would love to hear from you on our blog!
There’s a SPaG mat for you to complete and then revise where appropriate. Don’t forget the Year Five/ Six spelling list is in the middle of your reading diary.
It’s also important for you to keep reading. I’ve uploaded lots of different reading comprehensions for you. Choose one (or more!) to read and answer the questions.
I’ve set another arithmetic test for today. It’s a half test so just 14 questions from now on. How are you getting on with the questions? Please contact me via our blog and let me know if there’s any area you would like some help with!
There’s also a lesson presentation on equivalence between fractions and decimals. Work your way through it. You will need a partner for part of the task. Then there are some activities on worksheets for you to either print or answer on paper.
There are lots of apps that you can download to help you with your geography work, particularly with map skills. Download these apps. They are all free but on some of them you would need to pay for certain sections, but just the free parts are worth a look at. They are the ones we use in school and are great for map work and learning about places: capital cities, flags, landmarks and much more! Please remember to gain permission from an adult.
