Good morning, Year Five. I hope you are all well. I’m thinking of you all and can’t wait to see you again! I have uploaded today’s work on our shared area on the school website as usual, but I have also uploaded it onto Purple Mash. On Purple Mash, I’ve uploaded it and set it as a 2Do for you. This is an easier way for us to share work. Let me know on our Purple Mash blog how you are getting on with accessing this.
As always, we encourage you to read for at least half an hour each day, go on Lexia if you have an account and also use Spelling Frame too.
Read all about homophones and paragraphs and watch the videos on this link https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zm9dqp3. Then complete the worksheet activity.
I’ve also uploaded a SPaG mat for you. This will help you revise the key Year Five skills.
Adding two fractions where the answer could be greater than one. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zdbmt39 Please follow the link and watch the two videos. There are some worksheets for you to complete, which I have also uploaded onto our shared area and Purple Mash.
I’ve also uploaded your arithmetic work to complete as usual.
Learn about trade and economic activity. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zm2c92p Use this link. Read the information on this page, watch the videos and then complete the two quizzes. You may then want to make or draw your own ‘Global Meal’ and note where the ingredients came from.
Have a nice day everyone :)
