When you wish upon a star...

Good morning Year 4, I hope you enjoyed the activities I set for you yesterday. At the moment, there are lots of shooting stars about. I was really lucky and saw one yesterday. Tonight is the best chance to see one so if you get chance look up into the sky before you get into bed. I would love it if you could see one too, if you do don’t forget to make a wish.

Today’s work.

I thought we would complete our work on biographies this week. You need to use all the skills you have developed so far. I want you to plan a biography about anyone of your choice today. It could be a pop-star, sports person, actor, scientist anyone you really like and would enjoy writing about. Spend some time gathering information about them today. There are some resources on the classwork page to help you.

Make sure you have completed the Power Maths activity I set yesterday. Today I have set a Purple Mash 'To Do' for you called 'Numbers to 10,000, Compare and order'. Don’t forget to spend 20 minutes on TT Rock stars or Prodigy maths.

You have another mini-beast Purple Mash to do today called ‘Mini-beast News’. Why not get outside and see if you can find any invertebrates outside in your garden if you have one.

Have a super day Year 4, enjoy this sunshine! Remember to look up into the sky tonight.
