Year Two – keep up the good work!

Tuesday 31st March 2020

Good morning, Year Two! I hope that you enjoyed completing your work yesterday. You are doing so well with your home learning…KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Remember to get as much fresh air and exercise as possible throughout the day. How many star jumps can you do in 2 minutes? Can you jump on the spot 20 times? You could complete the Joe Wicks workout, or you could join in with some of the Super Movers videos on the BBC Teach website.

Activities for today!

English – read a book. This could be from the Oxford Owl website, or a book that you have at home. Keep a record of what you read in your reading diary.

- let’s continue with our adventure stories! Yesterday, you planned your adventure story in four parts on Purple Mash. Great work! Today, you are going to start writing your story. I have set a 2Do on Purple Mash, where you can create a story book with pictures and text. I have set the hand-in date for tomorrow. I can’t wait to read your adventure stories!

Maths - logon to TT Rock Stars. I have set up a new battle!

- I have uploaded a Maths sheet for you on the class handouts page. Complete the additions using the column method.

History – think back to our work on Castles. Draw and label a castle. I have uploaded a diagram of a labelled castle on the class handouts page. You can use this to help you.

Have a fantastic day, and keep going!
