Head Teacher’s Welcome

Welcome to Long Knowle Primary School, a one-form entry primary school in the heart of Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, where children aged 3 to 11 are supported to Learn, Know, Progress and Shine.

At Long Knowle, we believe every child has unique talents, strengths and potential. Our mission is to provide a nurturing, ambitious and inclusive environment where children develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to flourish both academically and personally.

Through a rich, engaging and carefully planned curriculum, we inspire children to develop a love of learning, build on what they already know and embrace new challenges. We encourage curiosity, creativity and resilience, helping every child to become a confident, independent learner who is prepared for the next stage of their education and able to make a positive contribution to the wider world.

When children join Long Knowle, we want them to feel a strong sense of belonging from the very beginning. We are proud of the warm, family atmosphere that exists throughout our school. Positive relationships underpin everything we do and we work closely with families to ensure that every child feels valued, supported and successful.
