Reception

Welcome to Reception at Long Knowle, we are a one form entry class with a large classroom, intervention room and doors that open on to a huge outdoor classroom and Wild Tribe Forest Area. 

We work with each individual child to appreciate their unique qualities, personalities and strengths. This enables each child to thrive and create positive lasting memories in their reception year. We are proud of our home school links and have an open door policy where parents and carers can share any good news, worries or concerns at our meet and greet in the morning at the classroom door or at pick up time at the end of the school day.

We ensure our environment is inviting, stimulating and purposeful and include the schools vision of ‘Learn, Know, Progress, Shine’ at every opportunity.
